Saturday June 21 2025. One of the themes of Matariki is remembering those who have died in the past year, so we remembered Jonny. Family gathered at our place, we ate, planted a kowhai, had karakia and remembered him. For dinner we ate salmon, cooked in the smoker he used when he used to stay with us.
