We've had wet weather and, one by one, everbody in our little household has succumbed to a virulent viral infection - coughing, wheezing, sleeping (although the first two often obviate the third). All except me. It's been a hard week, in our house, like pulling teeth. On one day, literally.
Sunday August 17 2025. And so it begins.
Monday August 18 2025. This tooth has been bothering me for years. Decades actually. Back in the 90's the dentist put a gold crown over several old amalgam fillings. Then a few years back the crown was drilled through to enable work on a root cavity. Then today I was told there was an abscess under it which was inaccessible and that the tooth should go. It took half an hour for part of me to be separated off. Goodbye and good riddance.
Tuesday August 19 2025. Despite the weather, Spring seems to have arrived in our lovely little street.
Wednesday 20 August 2025. Yep, there's no doubt about it....
Thursday 21 August 2025..... Spring is here. A few days early, maybe but definitely arrived and settling in nicely.
Friday August 22 2025. Look what's behind the fridge in the garage.
Saturday August 23 2025. The roses have woken and are making plans for the year.
