The week started well enough, but it seems I am not immune to our household virus after all.

Sunday August 24 2025. Seats in St Michael's church. Today I begin a new season of "3 in 1". About 20 or so of us meet for a simple meal, 20 minutes of meditation and a Biblical reflection. The venue is congenial. The company even more so.

Wednesday August 27 2025.A pleasing shadow on an Opoho wall. Clemency is feeling a bit better so we went for one of our favourite walks: catch the bus to Opoho and walk back. It's downhill all the way, and today we cheated a little: we walked as far as the university, had a nice lunch at "The Good Earth" and bussed the rest of the way home.

Thursday August 28 2025. Oh no! Now I have the damned thing. Coughing, sneezing, sleeping crazy hours. I'm best if I'm upright so this is the place I'll park myself.

Friday August 29 2025. In bed all day feeling sorry for myself, and took, for the first time this year, zero photographs. So here's another one from Opoho. A seed library. Take whatever seeds you need, leave what you have to spare. How cool is that?
