Wednesday September 3 2025. The top of our coffee machine. The small cup belongs to our little one. It was part of a tea set she likes to play with, but now lives here. When someone - Dave or me, the family baristas - asks "would anyone like a coffee?" she wordlessly goes to a drawer, takes out a tea towel to act as a picnic blanket and sits expectantly on the floor of the kitchen. So we make her a fluffy and she drinks it with messy gusto.
